ITB admits new undergraduate students annually in August. Senior high school graduates can enter the ITB undergraduate program for all faculty/school through either of two national admission selections i.e. SNMPTN (Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri or National Selection of State University Entrance) and SBMPTN (Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri or Joint Admission Selection of State Universities).
SNMPTN is national selection admission implemented by Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture and applied by all of Indonesia State Universities in one integrated system, which implementation costs borne by Government, hence participants do not be charged the registration fee. SNMPTN selection criteria are based on academic achievement by report grades and other achievements of participant during high school period. Generally SNMPTN process is carried on from January to May every year. More information is presented at http://snmptn.ac.id.
SBMPTN is a joint national admission selection based on written test/skill test that is held simultaneously in Indonesia, with administration fee paid by applicant (detail of SBMPTN refer to http://sbmptn.or.id). SBMPTN process held annually from June until July.
New undergraduate students will be accepted as FCEE students. There are 5 programs in FCEE namely: 1).Civil Engineering program; 2). Environmental Engineering Program; 3). Ocean Engineering; 4). Environment Infrastructure Engineering and 5). Water Resources Engineering and Management.
